I’ve just uploaded the first phpauction template for purchase. This template has been built for the free gpl version of phpauction and it may need some extra adjustments for those who operate the full paid for version. There should not be too many changes needed, contact me if you need a price – I will need access to your core files as I do not have the full version.

Basically the difference from what I can see of the coding is that the full version allows you to have other people sell items for a fee while the free version only allows the site administrator to put up items for sale. There also appears to be space to run google ads but as there’s no management for it in the phpauction gpl I guess it’s only available in the full paid version without the need for changes to core coding.

The first phpacution template is pa1 and it is similar in appearance to our z1 template so you should be able to combine the two easily of you want to add an auction facility to your ecommerce site to help sell off surplus stock or specialist items. Currently the pa1 orange theme is available for download but I’ll be putting up the remaining colour themes over the next couple of days.

I have not been able to put up the list of core files that have been changed because putting up a template for phpauction is quite a major job and there are loads of core files that need to be changed to give a consistent look across the whole facility. I think I’ve covered all the areas but if you spot somewhere that has not been covered then please let me know and I’ll make the necessary updates – this is only available for the gpl version not the full version which I do not have access to. If you need any extra adaptations then contact me for a quote but be aware that bespoke templates for phpauction is quite a major task and will not be cheap.
